Shelby County-based Thor (NYSE:THO) posted net income of $2.1 milliojn in the third quarter, compared to $27. 8 million in the same period last Its quarterly salesalso declined, falling to $415.5 down from $707.9 million in the same periodr last year. For the first nine months, the compang lost $7.6 million, versus profit of $87.7 millio last year. Earnings per share for the nine month s were a drop of 14 cents versua earningsof $1.58 last Wade Thompson, Thor chairman, said the company is in good though. “Our operating cash flow is we continue to have zero and we believe our cash and working capital is the strongesft inour industries,” he said.
Thor is the world’s largesg manufacturer of recreation vehicles and a major builder ofcommercial buses. The companhy has the fourth-largest revenue stream in the Dayton region, at $2.6 billion.
