The loans include $5.9 billion for Ford (NYSE: F) througuh 2011 to transform factoriesin Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Missouri to produce 13 models that are more fuel efficient. Ford plans to raised the fuel efficiency of more than a dozen including the Ford Escape andthe F-150, which are produceds at the Kansas City Assembly Plant in The said Tuesday that Ford also will use the money to “convert two trucok plants to the production of Ford spokeswoman Angie Kozleski said the two plantsd are in Michigan and so Kansas City’s F-150 plant will not be affectee by this retooling Kozleski said Ford is not ready to release detailzs of how the money will be spen t at each plant.
