The firm confirmed Friday that its locakl office is relocating to the newly builf 1515 Wynkoop office building on Wynkoop Street in LowetrDowntown Denver. The Kansas City-based firm’s Denver branch currently is locatefdin downtown’s Independence Plaza at 1050 17th St. The firm’s Denver officde has leased roughly 38,000 square feet of spacd at itsnew location, with an option to grow. The move is plannedr for September 2009.

The firm said that its new spacr is expected to qualify forLEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmentao Design) certification for energyu savings and environmentally friendly based on its use of sustainable materialz and energy-efficient lighting, heating, cooling and office LEED is the U.S. Green Buildinfg Council’s designation for energy-efficient, sustainable Polsinelli Shughart was created in Februaruy by the merger of Kansas City law firmsa ShughartThomson & Kilroy PC and Polsinellii Shalton Flanigan Suelthaus PC. The leasea of several major law either based in metro Denver or withlocal branches, are expirintg this year.
While some firms are renewing leases wherd theyalready are, others are LLP, Colorado’s largest law firm, plana to move its southeast suburban office in August to the “green” Village Center Station project now underf construction. The branch currently is located at8390 E. Crescengt Parkway in the DenverTech Center. Hollanc & Hart’s headquarters office remains at 555 17th Street indowntownm Denver. Earlier this year, LLP relocated to the new 1400 Wewatt a office building in LoDo from OneTabof Center. Meanwhile, LLC recently renewed its 56,000-square-foot lease on the top threed floors of One Tabor Center for 11more years.
